The valedictorian of the Class of 2022 at Booker T. Washington High School in New Orleans is Amanie Scott. Jacey Smith is salutatorian.
Scott plans to study biology at Prairie View A&M University. In high school, she participated in Upward Bound, KIPP Alumni Teaching Force, journalism and student government.
