KIPP New Orleans Schools partners with United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Louisiana

We were excited to partner with United States Attorney Duane A. Evans to commemorate “National Day of Concern Student Pledge Against Gun Violence” with our senior scholars from Booker T. Washington High School and John F. Kennedy High School. The Student Pledge Against Gun Violence initiative acknowledges the role that young people and their decisions can play in reducing gun violence, and we are proud that our scholars took part in the pledge. It is vital to speak directly with our students to impact change within our community! Special thank you to U.S. Attorney’s Office, Community Outreach Coordinator, Shane M. Jones for organizing this event!
