🎓🐾💙 Frederick A. Douglass High School Class of 2026 — a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Today, we celebrate 160 unstoppable graduates who made history as the FINAL graduating class of @fdhs_bobcats and the first class to lead Douglass to an A school performance score. 📚✨ More than $50 MILLION in scholarships. Countless barriers broken. A legacy sealed forever.
This moment carries generations of pride, resilience, excellence, and Bobcat spirit. Though this chapter closes, the impact of the Douglass community will live on through every student, family, educator, and graduate who made this school what it is. 🐾💫
Graduates were also inspired by New Orleans’ very own James Mayes @emlinejames — founder and owner of EMLINE — whose story of faith, culture, entrepreneurship, and giving back reminded students that greatness can come from right here at home. From fashion pioneer to community leader, his journey showed our graduates the power of building a legacy that uplifts others. 👏🏾
Bobcats, you showed the city what it means to rise, persevere, and finish strong. The BOBCATS will not be outworked. PERIOD. 🐾🎓
Congratulations, Frederick A. Douglass High School Class of 2026. Your legacy will forever roar through New Orleans. 💙✨
