Why KIPP New Orleans?
At KIPP New Orleans Schools, our approach to education goes beyond academics. We champion boundless academic growth through joyful discoveries tailored to each child’s unique learning style and interests. Our dedicated teachers ignite curiosity and guide scholars to cultivate their passions, creating an environment where creativity and individuality flourishes alongside high expectations and clear milestones—from pre-K to graduation day.

In addition to our academic focus, we believe in providing impactful opportunities for KIPPsters to explore, develop friendships, and pursue passions within the school day.
Our robust programs, including arts, robotics, and sports—typically deemed extracurricular at other schools—are seamlessly woven into the KIPPster experience. This unique approach allows scholars ample time to discover and build distinctive talents and strengths, enabling them to proudly stand out from the crowd.
In our classrooms, libraries, and local neighborhoods, learning adventures unfold daily.
Scholars confidently navigate both independent and collaborative projects, while field trips, competitions, and performances provide glimpses of promising futures. The skills and knowledge acquired from pre-K to graduation day empower KIPPsters to continue achieving long after commencement as successful alumni.

Panther Nation Welcomes Dr. Fulmore 🐾💙
KIPP Central City Primary was proud to welcome NOLAPS Superintendent Dr. Fulmore to campus for a wonderful visit filled with joy, learning, and Panther pride. Our new school leader, Rachael Parker, who began her leadership at the start of this school year, led the tour and highlighted the incredible work happening across our PK–4th grade classrooms. 📚✨
To kick off the visit, KCCP’s very own Sigma Mu Theta Youth Step Team — “The Fresh Princes of Uptown” delivered an amazing and adorable step routine that set the tone for an energetic welcome. 🥁👏
Dr. Fulmore visited several classrooms across grade levels, connecting with our young scholars and seeing Panther excellence in action. The visit concluded with a special Panther Pride swag bag, filled with KCCP gifts and gear to help Dr. Fulmore represent the Panthers. 🎁🐾
