Bobcats Win $50,000 Grand Prize in Larry Nance, Jr. Zero Hunger Challenge A team of students from KIPP New Orleans' Frederick A. Douglass High School has won the $50,000 grand prize in the Larry Nance, Jr. Zero Hunger Challenge with their innovative "Keep It Growing Boxes" project. The students, who are also enrolled in the Bard Early College and will earn an Associate of Arts degree upon graduation, impressed the judges with their solution-oriented approach to combating food insecurity in New Orleans.
