Booker T. Washington High School proudly recognizes Kolby Daniels and Tia Lott as the top achievers in this year's graduating class.
Taking the helm as valedictorian is Kolby Daniels, son of Kerry Daniels and the late Shawanna Pierce. As the head drum major and band captain of the school's marching band, Kolby showcased his passion for music and leadership skills. Alongside his musical achievements, Kolby has excelled academically, earning an Associates of Arts degree from Bard Early College. Now, he plans to attend Texas Southern University, where he will pursue a degree in business administration with a focus on management.
Tia Lott, daughter of Tiara Lott and Elijah Grant, was named salutatorian. Tia's passion for biology has been the driving force behind her academic success, and she looks forward to continuing her studies at Grambling State University. Beyond academics, she was a member of the cheerleading team, and she also earned an Associates of Arts degree from Bard Early College.
